Michael Quillen
Director, Modular Operations Inglett & Stubbs
Michael Quillen leads modular operations at electrical contractor Inglett & Stubbs, specialising in virtual design and construction, design for manufacture and assembly, electrical prefabrication and modular skid production. He has worked at the company since approximately 2004 and now oversees the design and fabrication of modular electrical assemblies, particularly for mission-critical and hyperscale data-centre projects. Recent activity shows his team scaling prefab production, including multi-unit electrical-skid programmes and efforts to integrate project managers, detailers, modelling teams, shop production and quality control into a shared operating system.
Seminars
- Coordinating delivery and installation of MEP skids, prefabricated systems, and rack level infrastructure within space constrained data halls
- Managing sequencing and access to ensure large prefabricated components can be installed without blocking parallel trades
- Improving communication between owners, GCs, and suppliers to align delivery timing with installation readiness
- Coordinating across multiple vendors and prefabrication models to maintain installation flow and avoid delays during fit-out
